Hey you!
So as you may already know, my name is Jade Maillet.
I'm currently building my dream business while living in Mexico.
I'm a professional show jumper ,flat rider and Coach. I used to be groom at top level as well so I do bring my expertise of cares in the top of the list.
As the industry is build like melt-pot city, I also deal horses to sustain the economy of my business.
My story in short
My passion for horses came , and it will sound cheesy but it's true, from watching the "Black Stallion" on the Wednesdays afternoon in my grand parents's place. I became obsess with that black beauty. No one in my family is from horses, so it was hard to convince them to start. Specially that we are coming from the very low middle class.
Let's say that I'm a little stubborn when I have feelings, so they finally buy me a 10 lessons card on my birthday... And here I am, 27 years later.
After I graduated from the equestrian teacher school in France, I found myself working for Philippe Rozier at the age of 19 years old. Here I have to say it's a long story for an other time, but it was what you can call Luck!
I took that luck and worked with it as if nothing was for granted, with a deep spirit of learning.
After those years with Philippe i had the chance to work for few more incredible riders and stables such as Eric Lamaze, Jos Lansink or Paul Schockemöhle. I truly master my game in learning from everyone around me to allow me to grow.
Diversifying
From a random encounter at a show in Mexico I end up (and a friend of mine) buying an Equestrian clothing brand named Cocarde.
What a coincidence when I learn that the brand was French designed & crafted in Mexico. We are in a process of remodeling the company as we bought the brand 10 days before COVID started. Stay tuned of news on the new collections in the blog or on social media.
